2. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you use our public pages, create an admin account, store NiceHash API credentials, and run mining queue automation. It is drafted to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation (Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming, AVG).
3. Personal data we process
- Account data: name, email address, and password hash for authenticated admin users.
- NiceHash API credentials: API key, API secret, and organization ID that you voluntarily submit for your own NiceHash account. These are stored using application-level encryption.
- Mining and operations data: queue batches, package definitions, block events, reward addresses, logs, and related metadata needed to provide automation and reporting.
- Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, request timestamps, and security/session identifiers.
- Communications: messages you send to us by email.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): account access, credential storage, order placement via NiceHash APIs, dashboards, and block tracking.
- Security and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): session management, authentication, rate limiting, and operational logging.
- Legal compliance (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): where retention or disclosure is required by applicable law.
- Support (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR): responding to your requests.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.
5. Non-custodial design
We never receive, store, or control your cryptocurrency balances or private wallet keys. API credentials are used only to interact with NiceHash on your behalf according to your configuration. Reward addresses and mining outcomes originate from NiceHash and/or public chain data you choose to monitor.
6. Processors and recipients
Depending on your deployment, data may be processed by:
- NiceHash when our software calls their APIs using your credentials.
- Infrastructure providers such as hosting, database, cache, and email providers that support the application stack.
- Public blockchain data sources when syncing block or network metrics.
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards where required, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated credentials. Backup copies may persist for a limited period for disaster recovery before being overwritten.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR/AVG you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to processing in certain circumstances;
- data portability for data processed on the basis of contract or consent;
- withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted storage of API secrets, access controls on admin accounts, and least-privilege service design. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
The service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
